BUDDING Tasmanian actors have taken time out of their school holidays to learn about acting from one of Australia’s biggest TV stars.
Underbelly and House Husbands star Gyton Grantley joined a group of 26 students at St Mary’s College to teach them the ins and outs of acting for camera.
The Logie and AFI award winner said he was excited to use his experience to help teach the next generation of actors.
“This is the first time I’ve taught,” Grantley said. “The important thing is if these kids want to pursue a career in acting is the fact that you enjoy it.”
The three-day workshop, which finishes today, was organised by NIDA graduate Olivia Simone.
