Blogging seems like such a simple prospect right?
You write some words on a screen, make sure you spell things correctly, add a few pictures then click publish. Making the post entertaining and engaging also doesn’t hurt.
For some reason however I’ve never fully been able to get into it despite my background. It was one of these things that just seemed so simple and easy and that I could do in my sleep but I was too busy recording audio, reviewing TV shows or laughing about Ryan Lochte. I felt ashamed that I wasn’t able to join all those wannabe journos despite the fact I used to get paid to be one in another lifetime.

But now that is going to change. I’m going to open up the keyboard, stare at a screen and attempt to gain your attention by posting some witty posts and give you an insight into my brain. If that ends up causing you more harm than good, then I’m sorry. If that ends up making you like me more and want to hire me or put me in charge of the production team for Channel 7 at the Olympics, even better.
