As papaya still stays on top, just which colour is emerging behind as the team to beat in the power ranking battle?
Before we find out, let’s get the usual disclaimer out of the way. You know the drill, these are all subjective and based mainly on my (incredibly smart) opinion mixed with form and on-track results, meaning it is a generally subjective list that holds no real weight except for the large basis of fact I like to think I can generate.
So with that in mind, let’s get to the rankings!
10. Kick Sauber (-)
Nearly some points for the team after a strong drive from Nico Hulkenberg. Not quite enough to move them up in the standings at this stage.

9. Haas (-1)
A pretty nothing race from them at Imola, a shame given the form they have been showing after their disastrous start in Australia.
8. Aston Martin (+1)
Should’ve been a double points finish after some pace just came out of their car from seemingly nowhere. Still gives them some positive signs moving forward.
7. Alpine (-1)
At least Pierre Gasly is remaining consistent and doing some okay things for the team. Hopefully the second car will get some consistency, no matter who is driving it.
6. Racing Bulls (+1)
Isack Hadjar is making this car remain relevant, and fast becoming the start of 2025. Liam Lawson on the other hand is maybe becoming the biggest disappointment.

5. Mercedes (-3)
Feels harsh to drop them down by so much, but when the other teams around them did so much better, there isn’t much choice.
4. Ferrari (+1)
Now that’s how you turn a bad situation into a good one. A strong Sunday for the team, giving a brief bit of life to a disastrous 2025.
3. Williams (-)
Could’ve been a podium, but in the end they’ll gladly take another double points finish.
2. Red Bull (+2)
Now there is some pace! A great result for Verstappen, while Yuki Tsunoda did well to recover to some points on Sunday.
1. McLaren (-)
A rare occasion when their pace wasn’t up to where they expected. Still, a double podium is nothing to be sad about.
What do you think of this list? Which order would you currently rank the teams in? Let me know your thoughts below!
